Peter Tenido

Peter is working with Dream Agritech as a volunteer, helping Dream in Business Development

He is currently the Project Director of the De La Salle University (DLSU) Innovation and Technology Office, or the DITO.

As Project Director, he supports and assists inventors and creators in the protection of their intellectual property and the development of business models for the commercialization of their works, while managing other technology transfer operations of the office.

Prior to joining DITO, he was a lecturer of the Chemistry Department at DLSU, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry minor in Business Studies in 2011.

In 2015, he completed a Master of Business and Science degree at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, through a scholarship from the USAID-STRIDE project. Through that innovative program, he learned about how companies, universities, and the government can work together to turn laboratory discoveries into products and services that benefit society.

Upon returning to the Philippines, he joined the DITO as a volunteer technical staff, then eventually accepted a full-time role as the office’s Project Director.

Peter is passionate about science, technology, and creativity; he envisions a Philippines that moves forward through innovations that emerge from the research and creative activities in Philippine institutions.
