Farms are deemed failures when they do not meet the projected harvests that a farm owner had in mind. Profitability is such a huge factor, that the lack of it has led to a lot of farms being left idle instead.

There has always been an apparent divide among agriculturists.

Every June 12th we, as a nation, commemorate the declaration of independence. However, we are still fighting to liberate ourselves from things that keep us in bondage.

Nearly 300 years ago, the coffee plant was introduced and planted on our shores.  A century later, we were a major player in the coffee trade, becoming one of the top coffee exporting countries in the world at that time. Sadly, a terrible disease hit our coffee plants and virtually wiped out all of it. 

“Gusto sana namin magfarm, kaso walang tatao.” (We want to venture into farming, but we have no one to work the land.) 

“Hirap magfarm pag wala ka lagi sa site mo. Minsan may instructions ka, pero ang ginagawa padin yung paraan na alam nila.  (It’s difficult to farm when you’re not always on site. Sometimes, you give instructions (to the workers) and yet they still do it their way.
